Why, God?

Part 3

In the dark.

My faith in God evaporates.

It feels as substantial as a piece of wet tissue paper.

God, where are you?

Do you really care? Are you really watching out for us? Is my life really in your hands? Or do things just happen? Good things, bad things - do they just happen as they will? Are we just at the whim of blind, random forces of the universe? Storms hit. Murderers and madmen are free to do what they will. Some people get cancer, some people don't?

Or is there a greater power at work?

And if so, who or what?

God, how do I know you are really there?
