A Prayer after Psalm 146

Blessed are they whose help is the God of Jacob,
who put their hope in the Lord their God!

Blessed are they whose help is the Lord,
who made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that is in them -
the Lord, who is faithful forever.

For the Lord opens the eyes of the blind,
He lifts up those who are bowed down.

The Lord loves the righteous,
He cares for the stranger.
The Lord upholds the fatherless and the widow.

The Lord shall reign forever,
from generation to generation, Our God reigns.

O Praise the Lord!
